Juicer Recipes
You’ve bought the juicer and plan to make big changes to your lifestyle – but where do you start? Recipes are a great way to bring your juicer to life – to try healthy new tastes and get the most out of juicing!
Recipes can contain fruit, vegetables, or a mixture of both! The choice is yours, and the recipes provided are intended to be guidelines only – make your own juicing recipes, try your own mix – be inventive and you’ll be amazed at what your juicer can do for you!
Single Juice Juicer Recipes:
Most of the juices that are available in shops and supermarkets are a single juice type – for example orange juice, pineapple juice, apple juice. Get the most out of your juicer by trying new recipes and ideas – otherwise you’ll soon get bored making something you can buy in a shop! Also, mixing fruits and vegetables is the best way to maximise the intake of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and enzymes. And there is no substitute for really fresh (crushed and squeezed this very minute) juice! Enjoy your juicer – try different mixes (see our recipes below for ideas).
Multi-Juice Recipes:
Mixing and matching ingredients makes your recipe more nutritious, by adding more vitamins, minerals etc into the mix. It also blows your taste options wide open – there are endless possible recipes for you to try and to enjoy! It’s best however, with strong tasting ingredients, to use a small amount and then build up and adapt your recipe according to your taste preference.
The ultimate ingredient – Wheatgrass. Some swear by wheatgrass, some live on it. Wheatgrass when juiced will provide you with a rich mixture of vitamins and minerals. However many who have tried it have vowed “Never again” – it can be quite unpleasant! Why not try mixing it with some lemon, orange, or celery? Make your own recipe – invent your own rules!

Juicer Recipe: The really healthy juicing recipe – Greens Greens Greens!
This ultra-healthy recipe isn’t what naturally springs to mind when juicers are considered – but it’s really easy to juice-up, refreshing, surprisingly tasty – and so so good for you!
You will need:
- 1 apple (sliced and core removed)
- 4 medium carrots (peeled with green-end removed)
- 1 stalk celery
- ¼ medium sized cucumber (peeled)
- optional ingredient: ½ lemon (peeled)
Alcoholic option (yes, your juicer doesn’t have to be solely reserved for healthy recipes!)
A cool, refreshing option if entertaining guests on a summer evening.
You will need:
- 2-4 shots vodka
- 4-6 medium-large apples
- Handful of mint leaves
- Dash of lemon (optional – try replacing with lime)
Juice the apples and add the vodka. Tear the mint leaves with your hands, then add to the drink and mix well. Serve with ice instantly in chilled glasses – this drink is at its best within a minute or 2 or - the mint leaves give best flavour just after tearing.
The apple might oxidise over time (turning the juice a brownish colour). A few drops of lemon will slow this down. Also, don’t make up until you are about to serve – making up this recipe prior to a party and then serving later will result in this happening.
Mix and match ingredients, try new styles, be adventurous with your juicer recipes! Your juicer will be good to you and good for you – make the most of it and challenge your taste buds!
