 Delivery Information

Our Delivery Prices
- Delivery will be charged at £3.00 for orders to the value of £39.99 or less (applicable to orders delivered to Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland).

Free Delivery!
- All orders to the value of £40.00 or greater will receive free delivery (applicable to orders delivered to Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland).

Next Day Delivery - Guaranteed!
- For a £4.99 surcharge you can have your order delivered Next Working Day - Guaranteed! Orders placed on a Next Working Day basis are delivered by Royal Mail (Special Delivery - guaranteed before 1pm), or Parcelforce Worldwide (using PF24 - next day guaranteed).

Applicable only to orders placed before 1pm. Saturday Delivery is not available. Public/Bank Holidays may affect delivery speeds. Not available outside of UK or Ireland. Certain addresses in the Scottish Islands/Highlands, and in the Channel Islands, may be exempt from Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. Please note that delivery of certain items, due to weight restrictions, may not be possible to addresses in the Channel Islands.

International Delivery
- Gordons Chemists can deliver to international destinations. Please note that we are not able to deliver to all countries and that we are not able to accept all orders placed.

Should you wish to place an order with Gordons Chemists, and the country you live in is not available on the list provided, please email: info@gordons-chemists.com stating your location, the items and the quantity you wish to order.

Dispatch of Orders
When you place an order with us, we aim to process and dispatch it as quickly as possible, and no later than the next working day from when you placed it (applicable to orders placed by 1.00pm; orders placed after 1.00pm may not be dispatched within this timeframe).

When packing orders, we only use cardboard boxes filled with appropriate packaging material. This is to prevent damage to your order during delivery. We do not post orders in envelopes or jiffy bags.

A signature is required for all deliveries, regardless of order value.

Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands: 
Please note that addresses in the Channel Islands, and a number of postcodes in the Scottish Islands & Highlands may be subject to an extended delivery period. Please note that delivery to the Channel Islands, or to the following postcodes (Scottish Highlands & Islands) may result in a surcharge being applied: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, 60-78, PH17-26, 30-44, 49-50, ZE.  This will not always be the case, and in the event that we are required to add a surcharge to your postage costs we will always contact you first to confirm your desire to proceed with placing an order.

BFPO - British Forces Postal Addresses:
We welcome orders placed by British Forces personnel, for delivery to a British Forces Postal Address. Orders will be sent via Royal Mail to the British Forces Post Office in London. At this point the parcel is signed for, and becomes the responsibility of BFPO, to ensure delivery to the correct location.

Delivery Period: 
We reserve the right to extend this delivery period up to a maximum of 10 normal working days, beginning on the date you placed your order. Should we fail to deliver your order within 10 working days you are entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund. Please be aware that an attempted delivery by our courier constitutes delivery within this stated timeframe.

Attempted Delivery: 
In the event that you are not available to sign for your order, our courier may: (1) attempt to leave your order with a neighbour and obtain a signature from them for this, (2) take it to a local Post Office for you to collect, or (3) make a second attempt at delivering your order to you. A card will be left following an attempted delivery, informing you where your order is being held for collection.

We want you to be fully satisfied with your order - beginning the moment you place it. The following policies have been designed with this in mind - to ensure your total satisfaction, and to protect your rights as a customer.

After all, we want you to visit us again!

 Returns Policy

 Return of Goods Procedure

1. 7-day No Quibbles Returns.

Gordons Chemists offer a full refund on any item for any reason, up to a maximum of 7 days from the customer’s receipt of goods.

Return of Goods must take place according to our Return of Goods procedure (see right). Any refund will be made via the same payment method used in the original transaction, and will usually be made within 7 days, up to a maximum period of 30 days.

You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are perishable, or where the goods are affected by matters of hygiene.  For avoidance of doubt we advise that perfume/fragrance, balm, lotion and all other body products, and any medicines/herbal remedies or vitamins/supplements are perishable and that for Health & Safety reasons an order cannot be cancelled once the product packaging has been opened.  This also applies to any electrical product which may be affected for reasons of hygiene. Our Returns Policy is not affected by your Statutory Right to cancel.

2. Faulty items

Additionally, Gordons Chemists offer a full refund on any faulty product. This includes all costs associated with delivery and return of the faulty product. Goods should be returned as per our Return of Goods procedure. Any refund will be made via the same payment method used in the original transaction, and will usually be made within 7 days, up to a maximum period of 30 days. Failure to return goods within a reasonable period of time will result in a refund being delayed.

Gordons Chemists provide full manufacturer’s warranty on any electrical product we supply to the customer. Within this period we will offer replacement of the product, or a full refund.

3. Damaged in delivery

In the unlikely event that an item is damaged upon delivery, please notify us within 7 days at returns@gordons-chemists.com. In this instance replacement will be issued as soon as possible following Gordons Chemist’s receipt of the damaged item. If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund (to include all costs of delivery and return) will be given to the customer. The damaged item should be returned as per our Return of Goods procedure (below).

In the unlikely event that a product has been delivered incorrectly or is different in any way to the order placed by the customer, we ask that you notify returns@gordons-chemists.com within 7 days, in order for Gordons Chemists to issue a replacement as soon as possible. Should you wish to keep the item you have received incorrectly, we would still ask that you notify Gordons Chemists (returns@gordons-chemists.com) in order for us to refund/charge you accordingly, and to adjust our stock levels.

Goods can only be returned to Gordons Chemists according to the following procedure:

1. Gordons Chemists must be notified by email of intent to return goods.  Please email returns@gordons-chemists.com, and quote your order number in all correspondence.

2. After receiving a reply, you should then post the goods to:

Please note that responsibility for returning goods to Gordons Chemists rests with the customer. For this reason we recommend using a guaranteed method of posting, and if necessary an appropriate level of insurance/compensation for damage or loss should be obtained. If your reason for returning an item is due to any fault on our part, we will refund you the cost of postage.

Parcels should be carefully packaged, so as not to cause breakage in transit, should have the address clearly printed, and should contain a copy of your delivery documentation (you will have received this with the original delivery).  

This is the only means by which an item can be returned to Gordons Chemists. All other methods, including bringing items to a branch of Gordons Chemists, are an unacceptable form of returning goods.  

Goods returned by any other method outside of this Return of Goods Procedure will not be accepted.
