It’s my first time
To help you feel comfortable, here are some tips for using Veet® Debut Wax:

Read the ‘How Do I Get Started’ section on the leaflet enclosed with the product, as well as the full ‘Precautions’ before you begin using Veet Debut Wax Strips for the first time.

Test your skin’s reaction before using Veet® Debut Wax.

Find a warm and relaxing environment for your first experience of Veet Debut Wax Strips. Make sure the room temperature isn’t too cold - goose pimples won’t help your legs look their best.

If you’re worried about pain, don’t. There is only a split second of discomfort, however the reward is up to four weeks of gorgeously silky smooth legs!

Each Veet® Debut Wax pack includes 4 x Perfect Finish cleansing wipes.

For best results, smooth the strips on to your skin (your hands will warm them slightly). Holding the skin taut, remove the strip in one swift movement with your other hand - making sure you pull in the opposite direction to the way your hair grows.

Use a good quality brush, or scrub each week to exfoliate. This will remove dead skin cells and help to prevent in-growing hairs. If you intend to apply fake-tan or go out in the sun, remove hair 24 hours before to avoid irritation. If you see some redness after waxing, don’t worry - this is a normal reaction and your skin should return to normal within 24 hours.

How do I get started?

Please read the Precautions and Instruction Leaflet provided inside the pack in full, before you begin.

Rub the wax strip between your hands gently to warm the wax, and slowly peel the strips apart. Re-use each strip until it loses its grip.

Place a strip onto your skin and rub repeatedly in the direction your hair grows (from knee to ankle).

Immediately, pull the strip back on itself very quickly against the direction your hair grows (from ankle to knee). Hold your skin taut to avoid discomfort.

Repeat in a consistent pattern.

Veet Debut Wax Strips - Precautions:
Veet Debut Wax Strips are designed for use on legs, arms, underarms and bikini line only. Veet Debut Wax Strips are not suitable for use on the face, head, breast, perianal or genital areas or any other body parts.

Don’t use Veet Debut Wax Strips on varicose veins, moles, scars, or broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, or on skin that has reacted badly to waxes in the past.

If you are on medication that can affect the skin or if you have a skin-related disorder, check with your doctor before using Veet Debut Wax Strips.

If you are elderly or diabetic, waxing is not suitable.

Before every use, test the reaction of your skin by applying the wax and a Perfect Touch Wipe to a small part of the area you wish to treat, carefully following the directions for use. If after 24 hours there is no adverse reaction, begin waxing.

Keep all Veet products out of the reach of children. In case of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately. Make sure you have the outer pack to hand.

If you experience any stinging or tingling when waxing, remove the wax immediately with the wipes and rinse thoroughly with water. If this sensation persists, seek medical advice.

Veet Debut Wax Strips are fine to use if you’re pregnant, however please be aware that your skin may be more likely to bruise a little.

If you haven’t waxed before, try the strips on your leg first. Once you have experience then progress onto to the sensitive areas of face, bikini and underarm. On these Veet recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.
