Veet Wax strips for face and bikini line are designed for hair as short as 2mm, so you never have to wait for your hair to get "long enough" to wax. Just wax and go! Feature a salon quality formula.

No preparation time is required - the wax strips are ready to use. Simply add, and remove.

For best results:

1) Rub the wax strip between your hands for about 5 seconds to warm the wax.
2) Slowly peel the strips apart. Each strip can be re-used, until it looses its grip.
3) Place a strip on your skin, and rub repeatedly in the direction your hair grows. Treat each side of your lip separately.
4) Then immediately...very quickly... pull the strip back on itself. Keep the strip as close to the skin as possible and hold your skin taut to avoid discomfort. The quicker the better!

Repeat in a consistent pattern so you don’t miss any.

If you are waxing for a special occasion, make sure you allow 24 hours for any tell tale redness to die down.

When you have finished waxing, remove any excess wax with a Veet Perfect Finish Wipe. If you run out of perfect finish wipes, you can use baby oil. Don’t use water, soap or alcohol to remove the wax.

Exfoliating 24 hours before waxing will help to improve results.

Check that your hair is past the ‘stubbly’ stage. Veet Wax Strips for Face and Bikini Line work best on hair between 2mm and 5mm long. If your hair is longer, trim it
before you wax.

Make sure your skin is dry, non-irritated, and free of creams or oils.

When waxing your upper lip: Treat each side of your lip separately. Press on the wax strip and pull back towards the nose, holding the skin taut with the other hand.

When waxing underarm area and bikini line: Your underarms and bikini line are particularly delicate. If you haven’t waxed before, try waxing your legs first. Follow the 4 steps listed above.

When waxing underarms: Make sure your skin is dry and free from deodorants. Use talc to get rid of any moisture. Put one hand behind your head, and stretch your arm back. Your underarm hair grows in two directions so make sure you wax this area in two
stages against the direction of hair growth.

When waxing bikini line: Bend your leg outwards and hold your skin taut to avoid discomfort. If you suffer from ingrowing hair, Veet recommend that you exfoliate regularly.

Top tip for underarms and bikini line: Your underarms and bikini line are delicate areas, so don’t wax the same area twice in one session.

Veet Face and Bikini Line Waxing - aftercare:

After waxing your face or bikini line, your skin may be a bit red. This is perfectly normal. Rinsing with cool water will help to soothe the skin, and you should avoid scratching your skin as this might cause irritation. Instead, try gently pressing your skin with your hand.

If a burning sensation persists, Veet recommend that you see your doctor. Make sure you wait 24 hours before you sunbathe, before using deodorant or anti-perspirant, or before applying any perfumed product on waxed skin.

Store remaining wax strips in a cool and dry place. If the strips get in contact with water, they are less effective.

Veet Wax Strips for Face and Bikini Line - Precautions for Use:

Veet Wax Strips for Face and Bikini Line are designed for use on face, arms, underarms & bikini line. They are not suitable for use on the male beard area, centre brow, eyebrows, breast, perianal or genital areas or any other body parts.

Do not use Veet Wax Strips on varicose veins, moles, scars, broken, irritated, sunburnt skin or on skin that has reacted badly to waxes in the past.

If you are taking or using any medication which can affect the skin, or if you suffer any skin-related disorder, check with your doc tor first before use.

If you are elderly or diabetic, waxing is not suitable.

Before every use, Veet recommend you test the reaction of your skin by applying the wax and a wipe to a small part of the area you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If after 24 HOURS there is no adverse reaction, begin waxing.

If you have not waxed before we recommend to start by removing hair from the legs Only when you have experience then progress to the sensitive areas of underarm, bikini line or face. On these we recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.

Veet® is fine to use if you are pregnant, however please be aware that your skin may be more likely to bruise a little.

If you experience a stinging or tingling sensation when waxing, remove all of the wax immediately with the wipes and only once wax is removed, rinse thoroughly with water. If this sensation persists, seek medical advice.
